Dr. Lester Spencer is currently serving as the Conference Superintendent of the Alabama Emerald Coast Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Lester has been an ordained Methodist pastor for over 40 years and served as the Lead Pastor at St. James Church in Montgomery, Al for 25 of those years. He has also served other large churches in Al and Fl after earning his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Candler School of Theology, Emory University. He has served as the President and as a member of the Board of Directors for various ministries and mission organizations locally, nationally and internationally.    

Rev. Janeese Spencer is the CEO and Founder of Venture Life Coaching and is a Certified Coach and Speaker with The John Maxwell Team.  Janeese has also earned her undergraduate degree form Presbyterian College and a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology, Emory University.  In addition, she successfully completed a 2 year post graduate Fellowship in Pastoral Care and Counseling.   Janeese served in the local church as a pastor of Discipleship, Women’s Ministry and Prayer Team Ministries for over 30 years. She is currently an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. Janeese has years of experience speaking at conferences and retreats around the Southeast, and she also writes and teaches Bible Studies. 

Lester and Janeese have been married 37 years and have 3 married children.  They love to travel, sail and teach as they seek to learn more about the Bible, history and life!
