Ken is the Area Commander of the Salvation Army – Orlando. He is an accomplished musician who has performed with Army ensembles and was an award-winning high school band and theater teacher. He then became CEO/Creative Director for Creative Events International. He was Music Producer for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Executive Director of the Atlanta and Barcelona Paralympics Ceremonies, and many other public and corporate events around the country – including the White House. Ken realized God’s call and became an Officer of the Salvation Army, serving in Jackson, MS, and Tulsa, OK, before his current post. He and his wife, Major Jessie, have 3 adult children and have recently retired to North Georgia and started the North Georgia Mountain Mission of the Salvation Army.
